Early stats were saying there was a ~4% chance of dying(which was very concerning), but now health officials are saying it’s between 0.5-1%. I understand the goal is to have zero deaths, but realistically we’re not going to hit that number and honestly 0.5-1% is a heck of a lot better. I acknowledge 1% of the population is a lot, but compared to all the deaths caused by the flu it’s not too far off. Personally, I think massive gatherings such as concerts, dance clubs and theme parks shouldn’t reopen just yet, but I do think restaurants, breweries, coffee shops etc. should be allowed…At this point, the virus isn’t the main reason we’re being financially crippled. Now, people are crippling themselves because of fear…..I think we should go about our daily routines, but avoid any non essential contact with our grandparents or someone who has an underlying health condition that puts them at risk. If it’s essential, sure, bust out the hand sanitizer, face masks and gloves to protect them, but forreal though, they should be the ones quarantining themselves

1% is 10x more then the seasonal flu. In italy its up to 10% right now which is 100 times more deadly, and that’s with the country on lockdown.

He obviously doesn’t understand how the spread of infection works. The numbers we get today are from two’ish weeks ago.

unless they come up with a vaccine and distribute it nationwide by easter his plan is doomed. I really don’t believe he has any idea how a virus works, STILL!

To think this will be over in a couple weeks is absolutely pure STUPIDITY. Be smart, listen to doctors, not a person that has not a single clue about what he’s talking about. To argue against that makes you a fool. HE SMART

More new cases popping up, death toll rising, people ignoring stay at home orders and still gathering in large crowds, a lack of testing sites, vaccine still a long way off. Yeah sure, we’ll totally have this contained by Easter.

Watch “I Don’t Think So, Homie Don’t Play Dat” on YouTube

This President is so oblivious to what’s going on. He’s trying to make himself sound smart, but he is such a nincompoop.

The media leaves out this statement from the president: “But our decision will be based on hard facts on opening. Rest assured every decision is grounded on the health and well being of our citizens. This is a medical crisis, not a financial crisis.”

The broken healthcare in The US is ill equipped to deal with even a small Epidemic. It is definetely not equipped to fight against a massive Pandemic. Trillions were dumped into the military ignoring the infrastructure and healthcare sectors

I mean, Trump COULD theoretically get the virus right? He’s pretty old, he’s pretty unhealthy (you know bone spurs and what not…) he would probably die from it 🤔 not saying I want that to happen, just saying it could happen

I know about viruses more than anyone, believe me. A lot of people are saying if everyone is dead then the virus must also die
