Well if that’s all it took to get people to waste their money. That’s on the individual. Y2K anyone.

COVID-19 is a great example as to why we need a younger president. These old fvcks are too delicate.

$8.3 billion is still $6.7 billion LESS than Trump cut from the CDC/HHS/DHS pandemic response funding (just to help pay for his trillion dollar giveaway to the rich) and fired the NSC’s Pandemic Response Team.
If Trump hadn’t cut their funding in the first place, we might not be in this mess now.

@S. Lee Mccauley Trump cut 80% of the CDC’s global pandemic funding – 16% of the CDC’s total budget and Trump is cutting $3 Billion more from the CDC’s global health initiatives in his 2021 budget.

And let’s not forget that he tried to eliminate the Affordable Care Act without a replacement which would have stripped millions of their healthcare coverage during this health crisis. No doubt he’ll try to eliminate it again if he’s elected.

@Travis L Look little man, Trump FORCED Japan to put 14 infected people on a plane with 300 healthy people, and FORCED them to fly back 10 HOURS to the United States.
      Trump IMPORTED COVID-19!
Trump has made at least 17 huge mistakes that made this much worse than it should be, and he’s STILL making huge mistakes.

Of the $8.3 billion to fight the coronavirus,
only $11.8 million given to Washington State with over 90% of deaths and confirmed cases.
That’s 0.14% to the largest outbreak.
More Trump corruption, lying and ineptitude.

So far, the coronavirus outbreak in a King County Washington nursing home seems to be one of the most fatal in the world. Out of the 31 residents confirmed to be infected with the virus, 12 have died according to Washington State’s department of health.
This gives the virus a fatality rate of 31% among confirmed cases.
This disproportionately high rate of death demonstrates how dangerous the virus is for elderly Americans.
Covid-19 could alter America’s demographics if it spreads as widely as the seasonal flu.
COVID-19 is a retrovirus. It uses RNA and has no self-repair mechanism like DNA. Consequently, it mutates very rapidly; it could easily be more lethal than in Wuhan or Korea.

  16. Robert Hawksley
    March 6, 2020 @ 8:56 pm

If deploying testing is such a problem let’s just treat anyone with any symptoms as positive until eliminated or confirmed… let’s pay symptomatic people to stay home.. now call a holiday week paid by the government anything we spend now will be a mere pittance compared to a full-blown Flair… too unamerican.. I know.. but the math will be around worst case scenario to bury them later if they’re not dead already from the flu
