Haha I love both of these guys but Trump just pulled an old school trick on Bojo. Boris was walking a step behind in order to look taller and the Donald stopped dead and Boris had to take a step back 😂

When Trump says you are the right person for the job. You know we are in trouble.

      August 25, 2019 @ 7:52 am

michael c Why? Trump is the leader of the most powerful nation on the planet if he likes you. You can use that to yours and your nations advantage like here he’s being positive about trade deals that’s beneficial not trouble.

      August 25, 2019 @ 7:53 am

michael c I wouldn’t worry, he doesn’t mean a word of it. He doesn’t mean a word of anything. Except when he looks in the mirror and says “I’m President Trump”, which of course turns him on.

I certainly hope no leftist middle class Remoaner types are triggered by President Trump and Prime Minister Boris Johnson talking about how Brexit is going to happen.

The fact that Trump stood on the stairs in front of the world’s press/photographers and actually asked them “do you know who this is”? OMG !!

      August 25, 2019 @ 8:14 am

Unless you’ve been sleeping in a cupboard for the past four years, nothing that dribbles out of Trump’s mouth should be a surprise at this point. He’s mentally ill. He’s like your Grandad after he’s gobbed a bottle of meths and forgotten to take his anti-psychotics.

Johnson desperately pretending to be the head of an (economic) super power on equal terms with Trump US.

    • Silverclod 141
      August 25, 2019 @ 7:57 am

Or just the leader of a nation sitting down with ally’s. Talking about trade very normal practice and common sense.

    • steenkigerrider
      August 25, 2019 @ 8:10 am

@Silverclod 141 “Common sense” requires to acknowledge the fact that the UK isn’t (by far) an equal (trade) partner when talking with the US.

Sounds great, except that the one and only thing I bought from the UK last year was a very expensive Christmas Pudding. I really wonder how the UK is going to survive with those phenomenal once a year Christmas Pudding sales into the US and nothing else. 🙂

People constantly mock Boris’s appearance etc, to me that is one of his strengths. He doesn’t appear to have been media trained, slick, and always ready with the latest sound bites (ie Blair).

A bit like Trump, in that I don’t necessarily agree with all they say – but at least they appear to actually be genuine and want to do well for the people they serve…

I’d like to point out how POTUS never stumbled, he’s not a politician but businessman. Every question was answered without pause and knowledge to the topic. In no way the stumbling buffoons of Obama or Biden.

And there, boys and girls, is the reason Britain needs a no-deal exit. Dump the EU and its crippling compliance issues and trade in an open market with the world’s biggest economy. Three months after Britain exits the EU will be begging them for trade deals.

  23. Simon Birkbeck
    August 25, 2019 @ 8:09 am

Untrustworthy, devoid of credibility and honour. For sure, the very very massive and very big and very beautiful trade deal will be massive bulk imports to the UK (wheat, other grains, crude oil, steel) and pork pie exports to the US. The vassal state prophecy achieved.

  24. Hansen Peter
    August 25, 2019 @ 8:10 am

Make a north atlantic trade zone, with free trade. Certainly many EU members would join. Without the forced islamisation of types like Merkel and Juncker!
