The entire world agrees with you Puerto Rico. tRump is a disaster and a disgrace to America, and indeed the entire world for foisting his greed and corrupton onto the political scene. DISGUSTING. tRump will go down in history as a Hitler-wanna-be without doubt.

As long as he can use airforce one to go to Mar e Lago, the swampland of the South, to go and play golf, get Melania to her hairdresser, and his kids to the mental institution. He has spent millions of dollars watching television and traveling around spewing lies upon lies upon lies. This utter inhuman creature deserves to be thrown into the deepest part of the ocean to sink into the depths and forgotten.

Trump and his people should be thrown in prison and the keys thrown away after all this is said and done. He should be a footnote in history amd his grave should be a public urinal

I’m really surprised that the American people haven’t risen up to dethrone the lying, racist criminal they call president. The guy is a disgrace and as a result America is a disgrace.

Everyone I know loathes him and most people overall don’t like him. However, the people who like him are concentrated enough in certain states to keep control of the Senate. I hope that his clear mental deterioration will get him removed before the next election. We have many faults but the country is much better than him.

Puerto Rico did not invade the U.S. If the U.S. invaded P.R. in 1898, why is P.R. still a territory after 121 years? If donald trump can’t take care of a territory 100 miles long by 35 miles wide, no wonder the U.S is going down the drain. trump needs to be kicked out of the white house before he does any more damage and sinks the “ship”.

To better understand trumps hatred and vindictiveness towards Puerto Rico one only needs to know that trump defrauded the Island out of 33 million dollars when he took their money for his golf course and then filed bankruptcy!

The GOP just flat out HATES brown people. They think brown folks of all types are subhuman, undeserving of any humane treatment. The GOP and Trump are DELIGHTED when brown people suffer. Puerto Rico’s suffering makes Trump feel all happy inside. Mayor Cruz knows Trump very well. She understands his mind.
All Puerto Ricans living in mainland USA, please remember at the voting booth, just how the GOP have treated Puerto Rico.

Hey man the politicians in Puerto Rico are inept and corrupted to the core. Mayors in many town enjoy 16 year terms in some cases even longer. Drugs are everywhere and many of the mayors have gone to prison over corruption and currently love cocaine for some reason. It’s not as bad as it sounds but the reality is that Puerto Rico feels more like a third world country the further you go from the capital al metropolitan area.

Also, get on the move with mobilizing the Democratic vote in Florida. We got no time to waste.

  19. Randy Smith

This is the first sign for me, that this is a impeachable issue. About 121 years ago Spain lost Puerto Rico largely because they were abusing the people taking lands, forcing people mov to twins but with no food and places to sleep, people were dying so the revolts began. Spain had about three years to do something to help those people before the US stepped in placing a navy ship there, that then got sunk by a mine, so US stepped in the Spanish American war. Just sounds like our president just don’t care about our citizens, our friends, our territory in common.

The mayor of San Juan DO NOT represent the people of PUERTO RICO nor should she speak for them😡😡😡!!! The people of Puerto Rico elected a Resident Commissioner as its REPRESENTATIVE/ VOICE in Congress NOT THE MAYOR OF SAN JUAN!!! The Trump administration is in constant communication with Puerto Rico’s Resident Commissioner!!! Further, FEMA has been on the island since day ONE!!! Therefore, The mayor of San Juan MUST lying 🤥! As a matter of fact, as of today, Puerto Rico has received 11.2 BILLION in aid plus another 41 BILLION has been allocated!!! Moreover, FEMA’S budget office has estimated and designated 91 BILLION for Puerto Rico for the next 2 decades. The allocation of financial aid / assistance to Puerto Rico has been under the Trump administration!!! Unfortunately, because of people like the mayor of San Juan, Puerto Ricans are looked upon as unstable “backward “ people. Ms. Carmen Yulin Cruz, STOP mischaracterizing Puerto Rico and Puerto Ricans😡😡😡!!! Puerto Ricans are PROUD, INTELLIGENT and COMPASSIONATE not, as you put it, waiting for the next handout !!!

Like it or not, whether Puerto Rico should be a state or not, is not at the top of most Americans list of priorities. It is in a few counties in the US, but all the States have their own issues, and PR statehood is not on the top of anyone’s list.

Why can’t we hold her accountable for the job she’s done managing the relief. It’s sad you make this story about Trump instead of asking the real questions on what could be done to help this people. You guys are only making things worse and profiting off it.
