It is no big leap forward by any means , if you buy a new tire and let the air out of it ,then pump it back up the only thing you have done is waste time . In this case wasted money and time . Since China has not put forth any message or signed papers saying what is what and how it will be worked out ,then I don’t believe it is a “big leap forward ” it is just wasting time. And trump takes credit for the screw up he did the first time . lol

Vander valid Farmers needed a $12 billion bailout—-Other countries are making trade deals without the US—-Tariffs are showing up in our consumer prices——Tariffs aren’t making a small dent in our National Debt——There’s no real evidence of our country “winning” with China—-The “tax cuts” still haven’t proven to pan out at all. Plus specifically Saudi & CHINA & RUSSIA & INDIA & other are working on deals. We all saw the exclusively excluding the USA. (High Five by Putin & The Crown Prince and The guy in charge left)

The guests said China force Enterprise to transfer technology? Demonstrate how you can force your business partners to give you something they don’t want to? Can I as a buyer force you to sell me your stuff free? What a moron? The other guest said China must accept not to upgrade their industrial capability? Is this a U.S. version of freedom of choice? Sounds like a tyranny to me? MSNBC spreads such moronic information is totally an insult to the intellects and demonstrate how arrogant the U.S. news agency to the rest of the world now is much more intelligent than these morons.

sorry Ruhle that Trump strategic move is not smart on Trade war with China, he blinked cause he has dealings in China, like Trump goods, maybe property. New NAFTA 1.1 not changing anything. America Companies still giving the blue prints to their property willingly. No gun to the head to do it.

This is actually the ONLY thing that Trump has attempted that I really do support. I don’t like China and I don’t like what they’ve done to our economy. Their cheap, inferior goods flood our chain stores… and everyone has just gotten used to the idea of buying the $19.95 piece of crummy Chinese garbage, living with its inferior quality, and then throwing it away when it breaks six months later. Bernie Sanders was railing against this Chinese situation, too… ten years ago. During a Senate hearing back then, he was livid about seeing “Made in China” everywhere. And he was right.

Wouldn’t it simply be cheaper and less agonizing if we didn’t allow Trump to offer any solutions to the problems he created in the first place? Why can’t we just pay him to become a Russian citizen? It would save our country billions and he could kiss Putin’s butt whenever he wanted. Everybody wins!

Where is Trump, the so-called “deal maker?” His hardcore base loves him because he’s anti-left and tells them what they want to hear, but I’ve yet to see him actually do anything of worth. The more he interacts with other world leaders, the more inept he shows himself to be. I can’t even imagine how happy our foreign adversaries must be. Trump literally embodies the stereotypes foreign countries have about Americans: loud, fat, and dumb.

Previously, Trump could afford to be unpredictable and make rash decisions without worry of consequences or blow back. The midterms were a big wake up call and with his approval rating at record lows recently. I don’t think he can afford to impose the 25% tariffs politically, as it will cause the markets to tank further and put additional strain on the overall economy. It’s basically the only thing he and his supporters can brag (even if inaccurate) about and would drive his approval rating numbers down even further.

The astonishing thing is his ability to do this sort of thing repeatedly, yet his base just eats it up and swallows it without even adding ketchup! There are so many parallels to Hitlers rise to power which are astonishing in the manner it proves history will repeat itself if not learned from, and trump lacks the ability, the will or the intellect to learn anything meaningful at all!

Trump is a hero. China is making immediate concessions and immediately sending negotiators to DC. All Trump did was postpone the tariff hike. The 10% tariffs are still in place. Trump hasn’t pulled anything back. China, on the other hand, came to the table with immediate changes. Trump won.
