So many criticizing the time he was a prisoner, like if they have the right to point fingers

What a shock. I had just heard a couple days ago he quite chemo. Wow. To his family and friends. I’m so sorry for your lose. Honoured him from being a POW in Vietnam. God I can’t even imagine. A good guy died. Someone we can say truly served in the military, outside of these presidents that never did. Clinton, Bush Jr, Obama , and the clown . Trump.

This has nothing to do with politics, he was an honorable and respectable man, and that’s how he should be remembered as.

Honourable and respectable ? Anything more than RIP is too much and unnecessary to Mr.McCain

You can spend your life selflessly serving your country, working all the way up until your death, and yet, some of the people you fought for and helped to protect won’t even have the decency to offer condolences.

Regardless of your political beliefs, the man fought for our country both physically and politically, spent years as a POW despite being offered early release to ensure that other Americans were set free first, and devoted his senior years to seeking reform rather than enjoying retirement.

The amount of hate and pure cruelty in these comments is truly sickening. We’re all human. No one should make light or scoff at another man’s death, even if you didn’t agree with the decisions he made in life.

He might’ve made a great senator had he put the best interests for his fellow Americans ahead of the Israeli Jews best interests, all he cared about was fighting wars for those filthy Jews in Israel, he was always a shill scumbag

Man…I hadn’t heard about this. This is unfortunate. He seemed like a decent guy. He had a long run though. 81.

Liberals are attacking him and calling him alt-right, and Always Trumpers are attacking him and calling him alt-left. It’s been one day just let the man rest in his grave for Christ’s sake

    I don’t believe in politics
    But this person
Was one of my list of people most respected in politics
I just wish he had won the presidency
    That’s what makes me wonder

“Songbird” McCain was no hero but a traitor and an evil warmonger who hated Russia so much that he risked plunging the world into WWIII more than once. I don’t celebrate the life of anyone who supported conflicts around the world that have killed thousands. The world is a little safer now that someone like him is gone.

There are surely many sad defense contractor CEOs crying in their pillows tonight, and many honorable veterans giving a sigh of relief that he can’t hurt more soldiers and civilians in the future. I just don’t understand the sincere people here calling him a good man – the only thing sad is that the good folk defending him were brainwashed by media to not be able to discern what he was. Being a past POW doesn’t give one license to make millions suffer – that he did. I hope his family can find peace now, and then later make some amends to the harm he caused the world.

The animosity was not one sided. McCain had no respect for Trump. Unfortunate he took those feelings to the grave. Poor taste CNN. Can’t miss just one day of Trump bashing.

Rest In Peace Senator McCain. I might not approve of everything he did, but I do know he was a good man.
