So, straining past Trump’s pending Taxcut II : The Middle Class Edition, for a moment, AND bearing in mind that not every thing must be checked off a president’s list by only halfway through a first term (still hope for the HBCU rEdress, there, CBC 🙄) just wondering how Mulvaney and the boy’s progress in fulfilling Richie Wrech’s promise to close those tax loOpholes he personally leveraged while stifling a shudder and holding’is nOSe is coming along. 🙄

This falls under the category of typical political massaging of numbers. In a vacuum, this sort of chest thumping wouldn’t bother me all that much. It’s what ALL politicians do and I’m smart enough to sift through the nonsense in order to understand what’s actually happening.

We are not, however, in a vacuum. We’re in Trump-World. Trump-World is a land a fantasy where up is down, left is right, North is South and the naked emperor refuses to believe his new clothes don’t truly exist.

Big business always booms in the short term when it’s given red meat in the form of regressive tax cuts and irresponsible deregulation. History teaches us that it’s never sustained (1892, 1929, 2007, and many other less seismic examples).

Incidentally, Bill Clinton doesn’t get a pass, either. He’s as much of an anti-labor Wall Street stooge as anyone. FDR would never have been elected without the Crash. I pray we don’t need a repeat before the next FDR shows up.

Perhaps, that brilliant young woman from the Bronx will lead us. In seven years time, she’ll be old enough.

The problem is Trump’s base refuses to watch any mainstream media source so they won’t realize that EVERYTHING Trump says is bunk. Just look at the comments from his base, completely divorced from reality!

Seriously how is the base NOT insulted by the needless lying to them? Do they think he’s only lying to everyone else? Do they NOT use their internet service to research the numbers THEMSELVES so that no matter WHO is in office they can know the facts? SMH they need to do better, expect better, & demand better ESP from a person they support.

To the young conservative lady: We are going to have a dropping off the cliff soon. In my own neighborhood they are building homes whose price is higher than the surrounding established homes and the developer is back to advertising ‘No Money Down’ loans. Can you say the recession is coming? We always have them during RePUGliKLAN rule.

So trump tariffs created 800 new jobs because two blast furnaces came out of being mothballed but the price of steel is up 33%, for every manufacturer,no hope they can meet supply demands, but at least the environment isn’t the only thing that suffers.

The economy is holding in spite of comrade trump not because of him.
Nation debt is up a trillion dollars and wages are flat. Risk of recession is up 2%.
Watch the yield curve if you care about your 401k.

At the end of the day, 45th POTUS Donald Trump will go down in history as America’s first #FakePresident and #SaboteurInChief who managed to destroy all American standards and core values in the false name of #MAGA, and at the expense of the very same useful idiots of #TrumpNation, as well as the corrupt complicit Repoobligans in Congress, who used him as their own #UsefulIdiot to implement their billionaire donors corporatist agenda. *What a perfect storm for American self-destruction.*

Thanks Joe for clearing up what is meant by appolagist Democrats …
People that care about thier fellow americans let alone the people of the world…. who seek to raise all of our lives to a better level …. to help distribute wealth among the people who actually work for it , to garner respect among our allies to fight the wrongs other hate filled regimes…..and then there the Republicans who war monger , embrace racism, do not care about anybody else in the world let alone fellow Americans, who spit on the constitution and cherry pick what laws they will obey, who turn thier backs on education in favor of ignorance …like it’s a badge of honor to be stupid in the most powerful country in the world ….. change is in the wind and it’s coming in Nov.

What does the GDP increase of 4.1% mean to those that don’t work on Wall Street. Isn’t this just a measurement of how much money Wall Street made? How many Americans actually received a pay raise? This is only good news if you are a Wall Street banker.

The question is, wouldn’t the economy be the same if Hillary, or any other candidate had won,I mean he took office a year and half ago the ball was already rolling.

A drop of 52 billion in the trade deficit? Wow, compared to the 2 trillion dollars his tax cuts are going to add to the deficit 52 billion is chump change.

Trump hires immigrants and flies them to mar a lago in order to avoid paying an american an american wage. There would not be a trade war if the trade deficit is getting smaller. WTF. We have accomplished a economic turn around of historic proportions, “Believe me”. But do not believe what is being said or what you hear”. Makes sense?

Just a few years ago Obama was saying Trump couldn’t get 4% GDP growth and said, “how’s he’s plan on getting the jobs back. Is he going to waive a magic wand or something? ” The United States is doing great and the butt hurt media won’t even acknowledge it.

The stock market has been manipulated by the rich and regular investors will not see any greater dividends. Many world leaders have been cashing in American stocks and bonds and there will be another major stock market crash worse than anything that ever existed. I predict October, just in time for the November Election, which will be called off because of the economic crisis.
